Post-Doctoral Fellowship

Join our Team of Postdoctoral Fellows specializing in Child Adolescent Psychology Seesaw Psychology Group is an APPIC member. We provide training and supervision to postdoctoral fellows focusing on child adolescent clinical psychology. We work with Postdoctoral Fellows (PhD/PsyD) who completed their training at a clinical psychology or school psychology doctoral training program. Candidates have a background and training in treatment and/or evaluation with children, adolescents, parents, and families. We are a small close-knit team of psychologists and therapists. The fellowship provides unique and comprehensive training opportunities for early career psychologists. We offer an inviting and beautiful workspace and mental health clinic tools to help us do our jobs more easily and efficiently. We offer a competitive stipend and benefits. Fellow responsibilities include:
  • Evaluation – Conduct comprehensive neuropsychological and brief neurodevelopmental evaluations. Provide screening and assessment services with children, adolescents, college students, and adults. We specialize in differential diagnosis, autism spectrum, ADHD, learning disorders, anxiety and mood disorders, twice-exceptional learners, and giftedness.

  • Psychotherapy –  Provide evidence-based therapies, parent coaching, and school consultation.  Our therapy approach is collaborative, skills-based, goal-oriented, and brief.  Our expertise is in cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), social emotional learning, and mindfulness.  Our clinic provides individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy, and parent coaching.
  • Supervision/Training/Consultation – We are dedicated to training pre-licensed therapists and psychologists. We provide training and supervision for MFT, MSW, and doctoral students.
Postdoctoral fellows may seek training in evaluation and/or treatment service delivery during their fellowship at Seesaw. Candidates are seeking:
  1. Training providing neuropsychological and neurodevelopmental evaluations for examinees assessing for autism spectrum, ADHD, learning disorders, anxiety/mood disorders, and twice-exceptionality/giftedness. Testing is for children, adolescents, college students, and adults.
  2. Training providing evidence-based and brief therapies with children, adolescents, parents, and families.
  3.  Individualized attention and close-knit team approach.
  4. Work with clientele who are culturally diverse and international.
Candidate’s previous experience and skills:
  1. work on a multi-disciplinary team, school, hospital, private practice or private out-patient clinic experiences.
  2. doctoral training from a university clinical science or scientist-practitioner training program (PhD/PsyD) in clinical or school psychology.
  3. Bilingual (preferred)
